You will leverage your strong development foundation to explore emerging technologies, identify new opportunities, and rapidly prototype high-impact "accelerators" and minimum viable products (MVPs) for our clients. Partnering with cross-functional experts in AI, data, and cloud engineering, you will move beyond mission-critical application delivery to actively shape the next generation of intelligent enterprise solutions. This role is for a highly motivated and exploratory individual passionate about turning complex challenges into clear, quantifiable outcomes and driving new value for the business.</p> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Explore and Innovate: Proactively research and identify new market opportunities and cutting-edge technologies relevant to AI transformation (GenAI, LLMs, Agents) and cloud solutions.</li> <li>Build AI Accelerators: Design and develop RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications and Agents using LangChain/LlamaIndex (Python) and React.</li> <li>Develop Intelligent Interfaces: Build modern, responsive frontends that handle streaming AI responses, chat interfaces, and complex data visualizations.</li> <li>Engineering Excellence: Implement unit testing, evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs (e.g., Ragas/LangSmith), and follow TDD principles.</li> <li>Cloud Native Prototyping: Leverage Google Vertex AI and GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions) to deploy scalable AI microservices.</li> <li>Ops &amp; Pipelines: Establish CI/CD pipelines and manage Prompt Versioning to ensure consistent AI behavior across updates.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>3+ years in Python and React development with a recent focus on Generative AI applications.</li> <li>Strong grasp of LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and OpenAI/Vertex AI APIs.</li> <li>Experience implementing RAG architectures and working with Vector Databases (Pinecone, pgvector, or similar).</li> <li>Ability to handle non-deterministic software (Prompt Engineering and "System Prompt" design).</li> <li>Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.</li> <li><em>Preferred:</em> Experience with FastAPI for backend services and Next.js for frontend.</li> <li>Experience with rapid Python UI frameworks like Streamlit or Chainlit for internal proof-of-concepts is a plus."</li> <li>A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related or equivalent work experience required.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>66degrees is an Equal Opportunity employer.
