<p><strong>Account Director</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a dynamic Account Director to help lead 5W’s expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual eager to grow their career in the PR agency world.</p> <p>The ideal individual will have worked within an agency setting, is an expert at pitching, and possesses superior account and time management skills.</p> <p><strong>Here’s what you’ll be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as primary contact to clients, continually fostering client-agency relationship to build trust and become a valuable resource and counselor to clients.</li> <li>Overseeing and implementing strategic communications programming</li> <li>Executive creative campaigns and brand partnerships</li> <li>Manage and delegate responsibilities of daily workflow of multiple accounts.</li> <li>Communicate account status to agency management regularly.</li> <li>Demonstrate proficiency in writing and editing materials particularly presentations, program plans and media strategies.</li> <li>Provide strategic guidance to clients and team members on an ongoing basis; anticipate and address clients’ needs.</li> <li>Troubleshoot media, team, or strategy problems as they arise; seek senior management input when appropriate.</li> <li>Motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback.</li> <li>Strive to develop the best communication and presentation skills possible to effectively articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others.</li> <li>Conduct and lead monthly conference calls and meetings with clients</li> <li>Provide guidance and leadership to team members on effective pitching, team issues, account workflow and general account issues.</li> <li>Participate in the development of materials for new business opportunities including timelines, proposals, business decks and case studies; assist in generating new business leads.</li> <li>Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients.</li> <li>Misc. research, duties and projects as required.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Here’s what you have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>S/B.A in Public Relations or related field</li> <li>At least 6 years of PR agency experience</li> <li>Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Strong leadership and motivation skills</li> <li>Proven client relations, management and supervisory skills</li> <li>Creative and energetic personality</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why you'll love working here:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits &amp; wellness programs including partnership with ClassPass!</li> <li>Flexible PTO</li> <li>Summer Fridays and Winter, Spring, and Fall Fridays too!</li> <li>Hybrid work model offering flexibility and work-life balance</li> <li>Expanded parental leave and family planning support</li> <li>Continuous learning through “5W University” and development initiatives</li> <li>Student Loan Reimbursement</li> <li>Professional Development Support</li> <li>Exclusive access to season tickets for pro sports teams along with Broadway shows, and more!</li> <li>Charitable giving, including matching donations</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p>
