Job Description:

Looking for an all-rounder team player to work with the warehouse office team, inbound and outbound.  The role is created due to increasing volume of work as the day-to-day activities increase in operations of this site.

Daily tasks can vary from covering the inbound or outbound team for few weeks as team member focus on implementations and then move to cover and taking on new tasks that has resulted from an implementation or alignment to global processes. Role will be tasked from receipt of inventory into Pemulwuy DC including discrepancy handling and/or facilitate invoicing of 3M orders released to pick.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Freight inbound, receiving manifests and HU labels are printed and ready for DC operators upon arrival of freight.

  • Provide support and follow up for freight queries - escalate issues to appropriate contacts if required.

  • Freight Discrepancy Handling

  • Complete daily inbound ASNs completed.

  • Use warehouse systems appropriately to address Distribution Center, receiving and vendor issues.

  • Ensure daily customer orders are pick is shipped on time by working with shipping office team and DC operators.

  • Schedule and organize the delivery of products for specific customers.

  • Assists in arranging both local and interstate transport bookings for shipments. Work closely with all stakeholders to coordinate the logistics and ensure that deliveries are completed within the specified deadlines, meeting the customers' requirements.

  • Running KPI reports from Business Objects as requested by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse and logistics coordination/operations role.  

  • Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP EWM is required

Required Attributes: 

  • An all-rounder team player to support and work with existing group of subject matter experts.

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong proficiency in using MS Excel for logistics planning and execution.

Work Location:  Pemulwuy, Sydney. Full-time on location

Working Hours: 10AM - 6PM or 11AM - 7PM
