Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Minimum of 5 years Refrigeration experience in the following types of equipment: Reciprocating, Screw, Scroll & Centrifugal compressors.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with all refrigerants used on site including: R123, R11, R22 & MP39.
• Must hold an EPA Refrigerant Transition & Recovery Certificate – Universal Type.
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience in electrical power systems and machinery as well as electronics.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Possess ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and correct any problems pertaining to all Plant refrigeration equipment.  The equipment included will be Trane Chillers, Viscose Room Chillers, Main Office HVAC, SRU, etc.
• Working knowledge of all types of programmable controllers and components used in the plant.
• Working knowledge and experience in all types of electrical tools, testing equipment and instruments used in industrial plant applications.
• Experienced in directing HVAC/Electrical type work for maintenance and construction crews.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals

Pay & Benefits: 

• The starting rate of pay for this position is $39.59 – $41.67. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
