As a Quality Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading the Manufacturing Quality Control Lab to safely & efficiently test and release adhesive, primer, sealant, and tape products
  • Driving improvements to gain efficiency in the product testing and release process
  • Coaching and developing a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians to create a respectful environment where everyone’s talents can reach their full potential
  • Meeting or exceeding the Quality needs of Internal and External Customers by reacting to opportunities as they arise and by removing roadblocks to ensure the team has all they need to be successful

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Seven (7) years of combined experience in manufacturing, industrial, quality and/or engineering in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Two (2) years of Manufacturing or Test Lab Supervisory experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry
  • Experience working in a Quality role in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Desired skills/experience include manufacturing, Lean & Six Sigma, continuous improvement, project leadership, statistical expertise, Microsoft Office proficient, excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Springfield, MO
  • Travel: May include up to 10% domestic travel
  • Relocation: May be authorized

This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
