As a Corporate Auditor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will gain broad knowledge of 3M’s processes, functions, and businesses through audits of subsidiaries, service centers, plants, acquisitions, and critical business processes. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Being responsible for examining, evaluating and reporting on the accuracy of financial statements, adequacy of operational and internal controls, and identification of administrative efficiencies.

• Conducting interviews and walkthroughs with various stakeholders and teams to identify gaps in controls or opportunities for operational improvements.

• Analyzing data and selecting samples for testing processes to identify control gaps and areas of potential operational improvement.

• Documenting and summarizing audit findings and developing recommendations for process improvement.

• Communicating audit findings both orally and in written form.

• Following up on the resolution of audit findings

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who have the following basic qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university/college in accounting or finance.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in accounting or finance.

• Experience working in internal or external audit.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with business level fluency in English.

Additional qualifications that may help you succeed in this role include:

• Solid analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency using Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience working with SAP

• Experience using PowerBI

• CIA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent local certification.

• Working knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international - one week of travel every six weeks across EMEA
