Source exceptional founders and companies in our focus areas - through events, happy hours, networking, partnerships, and hustle. Spend time embedding in the right communities, from accelerator programs to academia, to founder meetups and conferences. Help design and host high-impact gatherings, from intimate founder dinners to larger community events. Meet and evaluate founders that we should invest in (we do 12-15 deals/year, so you’ll actually get to work on deals end-to-end). Assist in the investment process, everything from initial meetings, to running diligence (e.g., market analysis, running customer/founder references) to post-investment portfolio company support. Develop and refine internal theses based on research on emerging categories and technologies. Support and lead other internal projects and initiatives.
