We currently have an opening for an experienced and ambitious Bookkeeper to join our team of Property Management professionals at our Sugarmill apartment community on Williams Blvd. in Kenner, LA. The ideal candidate will have a background in property management or accounting.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
Collect and process rental payments; ensure balances are collected; and balance the rent roll
Data entry of information such as deposits, forfeitures, and rental payments
File evictions according to company policy
Show and lease apartments to prospective residents
Provide excellent customer service to our existing residents
Qualifications
Previous property management experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong understanding of property management concepts and issues
