Cybersecurity Analyst

<p>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing IT security team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals without a degree but a few years of IT experience. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting with the protection of our company's digital assets, monitoring security systems, and responding to security incidents.</p><h2></h2><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><p>Apply cyber security policies and monitoring to Cloud and On-Perm environments</p></li><li><p>Monitor network and system activity for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.</p></li><li><p>Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents and breaches.</p></li><li><p>Perform routine security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.</p></li><li><p>Help implement and maintain security tools, such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.</p></li><li><p>Document security incidents and create detailed reports for management review.</p></li><li><p>Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.</p></li><li><p>Support the IT team in maintaining compliance with company security policies and industry regulations.</p></li><li><p>Participate in security awareness training for employees.</p></li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent IT experience).</p></li><li><p>Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and security principles.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools and technologies (e.g., EDR, firewalls, SIEM).</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning.</p></li><li><p>Must live in Cleveland metro area. We are unable to provide relocation expenses</p></li><li><p>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
