Seneca Foods Corporation’s Glencoe, MN facility is currently seeking a Label Team Operator to join our team. In Glencoe, we do it all! We have a full-time Labeling department, Frozen Corn on the Cob Packaging department, Field Reps to meet with local growers, and many Mechanics who make it possible to run a successful production! The Glencoe facility focuses on primarily Canning and Freezing, Peas, Lima Beans, Sweet Corn and Carrots. Our Peak Production season typically starts mid-June and wraps up mid-November.

Responsibilities:

• Operates label machine
• Makes adjustments and maintains equipment to preserve the efficiency of the line (greasing, replacing knives, etc.)
• Matches codes, utilizes handheld scanner(s), and pays close attention to expiration dates and markings on cases/trays to ensure proper accuracy
• Enters data into the system and handles damage/quality issues
• Runs various other machines, including Forklift as necessary
• Works rotating shifts as work load demands
• Responsible for setting a good example in all areas of safety, including holding co-workers accountable for safety rules/regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment
• Good communication skills
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Basic mathematical/data entry skills
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred
• Previous Label Line and forklift experience preferred
• Warehouse experience helpful

Starting wage range based on skills, abilities, and experience from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour.
