About this role

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋

Are you actively looking for a new opportunity? Or just checking the market? Well
you might just be in the right place!

We’re looking for a Senior Specialist, Talent Insights & Reporting to join our Talent Operations, Systems and Insights team. You will transform raw people data into strategic business intelligence. This role serves as the lead architect of the organization’s People & Culture reporting ecosystem, ensuring that every member of the P&C team - from Business Partners to Heads of P&C, executive leadership, and other key strategic partners are empowered, literate and have access to accurate, high-impact insights for critical decision-making.

What you’ll be doing:

  • P&C Enablement: Spearhead initiatives aimed at increasing the adoption and utilization of P&C reporting tools and insights across the organization. You will build learning personas and tailored offerings to upskill P&C staff and lead the transition from requesting reports to ensuring "non-data" people become confident "data champions."

  • Insights Roadmap: Support the development of the overall Insights roadmap that prioritizes automation and self-service; communicating updates regularly to our P&C department.

  • Executive Partnership: Act as a consultant to the P&C Heads of Region and other business leaders, identifying analytical trends and surfacing them at the executive table.

  • Consultative Intake: Implement an intake framework that shifts the team from “Order Takers” to “Problem Solvers,” guiding towards data requests being tied to a specific business problem or OKR.

  • Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to Analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and high-quality system standards

  • Operational Efficiency: Review ServiceNow trends to identify common reporting friction points and implement self-service solutions (Dashboards, Discovery Boards).

  • Reporting Offering Development: Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose scalable reporting solutions, ensure reporting offerings meet the business requirements. When needed, expand security roles and build calculated fields to enhance functionality of reports.

  • Measure Impact: Contribute to the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all new people initiatives, to define success measures and metrics.

  • Data Pod Partnership: Bridge the gap between Workday and Looker dashboards working in close collaboration with our Corporate Data and FP&A teams.

  • People Analytics Technology: Research and assess the adoption of new reporting tools and AI opportunities that contribute to the development of our people analytics and reporting.

  • Governance: Define and monitor Insights best practices, including maintaining functional and requirement documents and ensure the successful delivery of TSI audit requirements related to reporting.

  • Integration Support: Provide support for integration report change requests or new integration builds, collaborating closely with the Information Systems (IS) team.

  • Issue Resolution: Perform advanced root cause analysis for complex system errors, implementing sustainable fixes rather than temporary workarounds.

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a senior candidate who has experience with the following:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience specifically within the Workday ecosystem

  • Expert-level proficiency in creating complex Calculated Fields, with a mastery of Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and nBox reporting.

  • Proven track record of building and managing high-stakes reports, such as Board of Directors decks, Sustainability (ESG) reporting, or Annual Reports.

  • Deep knowledge of configuring custom reports and handling large data sets.

  • A history of identifying system inefficiencies and successfully implementing sustainable fixes based on best practices.

  • Pod-Based Collaboration: Experience working in agile/pod environments, acting as the "Product Owner" for People Data.

  • Experience working within or closely with a People function, demonstrating a deep understanding of HR lifecycles (Recruitment, Turnover, Compensation, and Diversity metrics).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. As a global company with employees and clients outside of Quebec, fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Statistics, Data Science, or any combination of training and experience relevant for the role

  • Background working as an HR Business Analyst or Data Analyst

  • Experience working with People Analytics tools (Prism, Looker, Tableau, etc.)

  • Workday Pro Certification (Reporting)
