Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $123,025.50 - $143,013.00. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

Physical Therapist - Pediatrics – Full Time Temporary

 

Overview

 

Hospital for Special Surgery is actively seeking a dynamic physical therapist to join our Pediatric Rehabilitation team in our new state of the art HSS Pediatric Rehabilitation and Young Athlete Center. This dynamic setting offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive out-patient environment and collaborate with world class colleagues across multiple disciplines. As a member of our supportive interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical intervention in outpatient settings for children ages newborn through 21.

 

Candidate must be goal oriented with a desire for professional growth and demonstrate knowledge of pediatric orthopedic and neurologic conditions as well as rehabilitation guidelines. Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills a must.

Qualifications

 

New York State PT licensure is a requirement. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are also vital. Minimum of 2 years of pediatric clinical experience is preferred.
