About the role
Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is looking for part-time Lifeguards to join the aquatics team at our state-of-the-art facility in Bentonville, AR.
This is a part-time position working up to 19 hours per week.
As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring a safe and friendly environment for all of the aquatic facility members and guests.Key Accountabilities
Monitor and ensure safety and well-being of patrons using the aquatic facilities.
Enforce and explain rules as necessary.
Respond appropriately to any emergency.
Perform chemical testing and documents results for three bodies of water and a hot tub four times a day.
Attend all required staff meetings and training.
Ensure that needs of the aquatic center are being met by folding towels; cleaning; filling water machines; and inspecting the Aquatics Facility to ensure safe environment for members.
Maintain a professional attitude.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 16 years old.
American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and First Aid certification.
Meet HealthFitness Fitness and Skill standards.
Be dependable, alert and able to interact with people of all ages in a positive manner with strong customer service skills.
Computer proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook; and working knowledge of the member management system, databases, and tools.
Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
