About the role
HealthFitness is looking for an on-call/substitute Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our client site located in Alexandria, VA.
This is a position is teaching on an as needed basis.
Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.Minimum Requirements
- Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
- Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.
- 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
