Full -time Staff Anesthesiologist positions are available in our growing academic department. More than 40,000 cases per year are attended including neurosurgery, major vascular, thoracic, cardiac, solid organ transplant, ambulatory, and obstetric anesthesia. In addition, the Department has a substantial role in critical care and pain medicine. Clinical time may be divided between the main operating rooms, other anesthetizing locations within the medical center, our owned community hospitals and office-based practices.
We have a top-ranked resident training program with opportunities available to participate in multiple education programs and initiatives. There is also opportunity to collaborate in our ongoing basic, translational and clinical research programs with potential start-up funds available.

Skills & Requirements:
Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Works collaboratively with all HMFP Staff
Creativity and ingenuity are valued but adherence to established practice guidelines as set by governing boards is mandatory
This role is an employment model position with Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. (HMFP). We offer an exceptional compensation and benefits package as well as call incentives.
Pay Range:
$420,000 - $440,000The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
