The Ministry of Highways provides a safe, reliable transportation system to support Saskatchewan’s growth and quality of life. We manage and develop an integrated sustainable transportation system that supports economic growth and promotes the safe and efficient movement of people and goods. Saskatchewan's road network is the largest in Canada which consists of around 26,500 km of provincial highways. We operate and maintain approximately 700 bridges, 12 ferries, one barge and 16 northern airports.
