We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Broker-Dealer Vendor Manager Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing vendor relationships, optimizing platform performance, and ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial services, project management expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What You'll Do

  • Vendor and Platform Management: Collaborate with vendors, internal departments, and the Equitable field force to ensure effective platform management and operational efficiency.
  • Project Coordination: Create, update, and manage project timelines for contract renewals, tool enhancements, and communication plans, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are executed successfully.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients to foster effective communication and collaboration.
  • Data Feed Management: Work closely with vendors and Equitable IT teams to ensure data feeds (e.g., DST and DTCC feeds) are updated and troubleshoot issues to provide seamless service to Financial Professionals.
  • Subscription and Access Oversight: Manage subscriptions, user access, and invoice processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.

This position offers a flexible work schedule: it may be fully remote or hybrid. If you are located near one of our offices (e.g., Charlotte, NC) a hybrid schedule with 2–3 days on-site per week is expected to foster collaboration and connection.
 

The base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000.  Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably in a vendor relationship role (ie: eMoney, Morningstar, and Broadridge.)
  • Proven knowledge of life, annuity, and investment advisory products.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong project management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with DST and DTCC feeds is highly desirable.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Strong critical thinking and strategic analysis skills, with the ability to quickly gather and interpret data.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking capabilities and ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external clients.
  • Results-oriented with a solution-focused and analytical mindset.
  • Proactive approach to learning and adapting to new challenges.

Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Business Data Analysis: Knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.

Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience

Data Analysis Tools: Knowledge of key uses and benefits of data analysis tools; ability to utilize data analysis tools to identify factors influencing business performance and to gain greater insight into trends within a business, industry and customer base.

Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
 
Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
