Job Description:

We are seeking a National Events Manager to lead the planning and delivery of events that support our strategic objectives and strengthen stakeholder engagement. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave, offering you the chance to manage high-profile events across Australia and New Zealand.

You’ll coordinate logistics, budgets, and communications to ensure every event runs seamlessly, meets sponsorship obligations, and delivers measurable outcomes. If you thrive on organisation, collaboration, and creating memorable experiences, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage end-to-end event delivery, from planning to post-event evaluation
  • Coordinate logistics including venues, AV, merchandise, and suppliers
  • Oversee budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Liaise with internal teams, sponsors, and external stakeholders
  • Create and send invitations, manage RSVPs, and track timelines using tools like Microsoft Office, Jira and Hubspot
  • Measure and report on event ROI and stakeholder feedback

Job Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering events of various sizes
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and track expenses accurately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and email platforms
  • Ability to travel for key events across AU and NZ
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and ability to stay calm under pressure

Preferred:

  • Experience using project management tools
  • Qualifications in events, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Experience managing sponsorship obligations and reporting ROI
