Job Description:
As a Business Analyst at Cotality, you’ll partner closely with clients and internal teams to understand complex business challenges and translate them into clear, actionable solutions. Your work will directly support the delivery of high‑value outcomes across our mortgage origination product platform, helping customers focus more on people and less on process.
You will collaborate with banks, valuation firms, third‑party partners and cross‑functional teams to diagnose problems, uncover opportunities, and guide the design and implementation of robust solutions. In this role, you will thrive in a high‑performance, fast‑paced environment, balancing independent problem‑solving with deep collaboration to deliver solutions that help people “build better lives.”
What you will be doing:
- Partnering with clients, product managers, scrum teams, and stakeholders to deliver impactful product and process improvements.
- Facilitating workshops to elicit requirements, resolve issues, and drive decisions with a bias for action.
- Designing, supporting, and testing web‑based applications, including API integrations, identity management, and security components.
- Creating clear functional specifications, user stories, and documentation to support high‑performance delivery.
- Collaborating with a highly skilled team to solve complex problems and navigate emerging challenges.
- Using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Bizagi, Miro, Postman, and AI‑based productivity tools.
- Championing quality through acceptance testing and accountability for final deliverables.
Job Qualifications:
What you will bring:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in digital transformation environments, ideally within financial services or similar sectors.
- Experience with API integrations, data analysis, BI tools, and web application workflows.
- Strong capability in crafting requirements, solution designs, process diagrams, user stories, and functional/non‑functional specifications.
- Ability to work across Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid delivery environments.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Bizagi, Miro, Postman, and AI‑enabled tools.
- Excellent communication skills — able to simplify complexity and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, curious, collaborative mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and leading decisions.
