Data Workday Engineer,  Financial Infrastructure at Checkout.com

In this role, you will serve as a hands-on subject matter expert, responsible for designing and implementing Workday Accounting Center and Prism solutions. You will leverage your expertise in advanced SQL and data transformation to build reliable data models that support our financial processes. Operating within a development-focused environment, you'll work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into solutions and guide them through the full product lifecycle. Additionally, you will contribute to our internal capability by mentoring and training new team members and building strong, trusting relationships across project teams and management to ensure our financial infrastructure is accurate, compliant, and built for scale.
 

What you will be doing:

• Deliver Workday Accounting Center and Prism solutions as a hands-on subject matter expert, from the initial design and configuration to final testing.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into Workday solutions.

• Use advanced SQL for data transformation and modeling to build reliable data models that support our financial processes.

• Contribute to the full lifecycle of new products within a development-focused environment.

• Develop strong, trusting relationships with project teams, management, and external clients.

• Help mentor and train new team members to improve our internal capability and foster knowledge sharing.

What we’re looking for:

• Workday Certified Consultant in Workday Accounting Center, Advanced Reporting, Integrations, and PRISM.

• 3+ years of experience deploying Workday and playing a key role in a Workday support environment.

• An analytical mindset with a proven ability to implement Workday solutions from business needs.

• A detail-oriented approach, committed to ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

• An excellent communicator, skilled at collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional experience preferred:

• Knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing, or other AI technologies.
