Overview

You will be part of Celanese European tax team, and will manage the European Corporate Income tax compliance & reporting and tax planning. This person will report to the Sr. Director Tax, EMEA and potentially lead a team in the future.

Responsibilities

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

• Support the Global tax reporting team on the quarterly tax provisions by closely working with outside consultants
• Manage with outside consultants preparing quarterly FAS 109 tax provision packages and review of the tax packages
• Manage and update FIN 48 positions
• Manage with outside consultants filings of corporate income tax returns in EMEA region
• Manage tax account reconciliation, quarterly cash tax reporting
• Manage the timely preparations and reviewing tax journal entries
• Manage corporate tax accounts in SAP
• Support tax planning projects with Business, Finance, Treasury and Legal
• Support Transfer Pricing Department on TP adjustments
• Support tax planning team on tax modelling and calculation of tax impact of tax planning strategies
• Liaise with outside consultants

Qualifications

• Degree in tax is preferred
• University degree with at least 7 years’ professional experience in tax accounting in a big 4 firm or in global industry firm
