Optimize Production Planning at Celanese (Global Chemical Leader)
Leverage your analytical expertise to enhance our toll manufacturing network performance and drive supply chain excellence across European operations.
Your Impact:
- Lead sophisticated production planning for external manufacturing partners
- Implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency
- Serve as the critical link between planning, procurement, logistics, and manufacturing
- Drive inventory optimization across multiple locations
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Develop comprehensive production schedules aligned with master supply plans
- Conduct in-depth analysis of scheduling metrics and lead root cause investigations
- Coordinate cross-functionally to optimize production scheduling
- Manage strategic stock transfers while maintaining optimal inventory levels
- Develop and track KPIs to achieve inventory and service level targets
- Maintain scheduling master data in SAP and Blue Yonder
- Build strategic relationships with tolling partners
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations or supply chain planning
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel, with planning systems experience
- Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to identify trends and implement improvements
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision-making
- Fluent German and English communication skills
- Experience in chemical or process manufacturing preferred
