Responsibilities of the job
- To ensure smooth and planned offloading of trucks within 24 hours of arrival at the mines
- To ensure that a full set of stamped Proof Delivery (POD) is sent through to project/transit controllers within 24 hours
- To ensure that trucks are loaded 24 hours from the day they are available on site for loading
- To ensure that all trucks are within legal weight limits (axle and GVM) before dispatch from the mines
- To ensure that the cargo on every truck is well secured before dispatch from site
- To ensure that drivers have proper truck documentation and signage before dispatch
- To ensure that all trucks are in convoy and are being escorted at the time of dispatch
Candidate's requirements
- High School (A level) or equivalent
- Min. 3 years of professional experience
- English, Swahili and French speaker
- Residing in Kapiri
- Basic computing skills
- Eloquent in speech
- Worked in any of the mines before, either through direct employment or through a supplier
