As a Data & Insights Expert, you will play a key role in transforming Belgium’s payroll operations. You’ll analyze current payroll processes, ensure data consistency across systems, and drive improvements through root‑cause and impact analysis.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with technical teams to resolve integration and data‑quality issues, and partner with payroll operations to fix master data and time‑data discrepancies affecting payroll accuracy. You’ll also lead data migration activities, define data‑quality KPIs, and support the automation of gross salary calculations in SAP EOP.

What will you be doing:  

  • Conduct business analysis of existing Payroll process to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Perform data consistency validations across systems used for payroll administration (Workday, SAP EOP, Protime, Attentia).
  • Execute root cause analysis to identify recurring patterns affecting data quality and system integration.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to resolve data and integration issues using Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with the payroll operations team to address master and time data issues impacting payroll accuracy.
  • Execute data migration activities (extract, transform, load) between systems in line with project phases.
  • Design and prepare technical documentation for data quality KPIs and reporting.
  • Drive the implementation and automation of gross salary calculation processes in SAP EOP (including salary components such as premiums).
  • Coordinate master data cleanup in alignment with the TO-BE process design.
  • Perform impact analysis to assess the implications of changes on HR and payroll processes.

What you will bring:  

  • 1 year minimum in a HR data, HR master data management or payroll operations environment
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday, SAP (EOP); HRIS process improvement is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in English
